All of us, men or women, young or small, must have been informed or experienced this new trend-wearing wigs. Wearing wigs has become such a popular habit that even hairstylists consider making wigs as part and parcel of their skills. To tell you the truth, wearing wigs are pretty awesome. You see, we have different sizes, styles, colors or even texture. You could use virgin-hair, fake-textured hair or even attachments to have your wigs made. Women patronize so much that fellow women who are into the business of making wigs have saturated Instagram with posts of their work. But why? Why this clamor for wigs? Why are more women magnetized by wig wearing? Let’s see three good reasons why they do that?

1) To protect the natural hair. 

Ladies understand how disgruntling it is to maintain your hair on a daily basis. Habits such as blow drying on a constant basis, can really cause hair loss or damage your hair irreversibly. So instead of wasting time or money on your hair, why don’t protect your natural hair by weaving it and then putting on a nice looking wig? Just saying!!!!

2) To change hairstyles for time.

Women aren’t like men that are satisfied with a lifetime hairstyle. We love versatility and the only method that serves that purpose so religiously is wig wearing. Pending on your mood, you might feel like having something short or long on your hair. Wigs really help get any look you wish to have!

Hahaha! There are some ladies who unfortunately didn’t consult their wig maker in terms wearing and maintenance of a wig. So when wearing it, you might be very comfortable. But someone might just wanna rub your hair to applaud you for your new “hairstyle” , or the wind blows and your wig falls off along with your pride…Hahaha! This could be so hilarious.

2. Good wigs could cost a fortune.

Well, not literarily. But those beautiful wigs that have got this soft texture and made with original human hair could be pretty expensive. So at times a killer wig can’t always be affordable and you might not slay as much as you wish!

3. The heat makes your scalp itch all the time

Naturally, when you wear a cap or gele, you would feel an inordinate heat and fell like pulling it off from your head and borrow fresh air! Same thing goes with your wig! It can be so captivating in the eyes of many, but no one can understand the endurance you are putting after some hours… Am I lying? 


So that’s it, folks. Wigs have their copious advantages but also have some drawbacks. But hey! Do what makes you feel comfortable! Don’t give a shit about others’ volition (men or women). If you love wearing them, do it! You save yourself from wearisome hours at the salon and protect your natural hair religiously. You love yourself too much to cause and harm to the hair our heavenly Father has blessed you with, so you take care of it while you slay beautifully with a sexy-looking, mesmerizing, killer wig.
