It enthralls you when you think of the fact that there are different people, places, cultures, norms, languages, traditions, habits and institutions out there- different from the ones in your personal environment, the country you live in or the city you reside. Sometimes those variables earlier mentioned could be analogous, similar, or entirely divergent but certainly not identical. This controversy can even be as proximate as from the nearest village or town to where you stay. But this same controversy has been a cornerstone for an activity, a business, an industry which has ministered to the affairs and needs of people since time immemorial-TOURISM
Tourism is a tenet of life that contributed to the commercial activities of traders in empires that were as prominent as Greece, Assyria, Egypt of Persia. Bilateral and multilateral alliances between two or more states and countries were through the physical movement of relative figures from one place to another. Tourism, over the years has exceeded paramount  purposes such as business and politics and has taken itself a notch higher-leisure and recreation. In a bid to imbue the latter to this sector, tourism has given birth to a branch proudly called HOSPITALITY.
Hospitality is an identified factor in tourism as it aids the latter through different manners-in terms of stay (Hotels), food and beverage (Restaurants and bars),  health and beauty (Spas), exotic exhibitions(Resorts and Beaches), cultural heritage(Museums), physical maintenance (Sports) and so on and so forth. Tourism and Hospitality go hand in hand and the bridge between those is TRAVEL.
Travel is the process or action that includes the physical movements of tourists, visitors or passengers, as you may attribute it, from one place to another. It comes in a legion of forms- through sea (i.e. cruises), land (buses) or air (airplanes).
These three giants make up a wonderful industry- Tourism, Travel and Hospitality. It is an industry with amazing prospects and a terrain in which entrepreneurial innovations can be realized.
Cruise Africa- Travel and Hospitality in Africa is a blog that masters on Tourism, Travel and Hospitality in Africa. It will disseminate information and deliberate on matters regarding the economy, employment, features, components and relevance of the industry in Africa.
